A former Computer Science major in college, Doug went on to spend much time in the food and beverage industry? Doug decided in 2006 to return to his passion for computers and technology only this time to combine it with his passion for art and design .Together with Andrew Turner they founded Archimedes Web Design which has now transformed into Arcimedia. A lifelong student especially in the areas of art and web technologies he is constantly expanding his skill set and he shares much of his knowledge and insight on The Arcimedia Blog as well as in the resources section.
Andrew Turner
Lead Programmer
Andrew Turner has been a private educator for the past decade with a focus on mathematics. Through a trail of books in game theory this field of study led, naturally, into programming and web development. Now having the ability to apply mathematics to daily work, Andrew defines his life as, “Living the dream.”
He has developed two major pieces of software, College Advisor Pro and Home Equity Wealth Builder, and has broken ground on a third in addition to creating an attrition rate algorithm for college, an SAT II Math (levels 1 and 2) prep course, an SAT I prep course, and co-founding Think Archimedes, Arcimedia, and College Planning U.
Most of his free time is spent reading, to which he attributes most of his luck and success in life.
Most Thankful For: Parents who, when they had a little money, took us to see the world. A gracious, loving, and generous God. Friends who have stood the test of time.

After moving to South Carolina from Michigan, Charity found Southern Hospitality and culture were just where she belonged. A Communication major in college, Charity learned great people skills, organization, goal dedication, and focus. A planner by nature, her skills help Arcimedia to run more smoothly, connect resources, and build team comradery. Charity spent several years in the food and beverage industry learning to work in a high stress, highly demanding environment allowing her to build the time management skills necessary to accomplish seemingly impossible things in a time crunch.
